- B Mulqueen Review added: 2018.03.17★ ★ ★ ★ ★The woodlands and valleys in this area surrounding the River Ashop are stunning. I could spend hours just wandering around, getting lost beneath the canopy of Coniferous Trees.
Parking spaces always seemed sufficient upon my many visits, and there is no charge, which is always a bonus.
After spending some time in the woods, I ventured out into the nearby valley and found what seemed to be a grouse moor, surrounded by beautiful scenery.
My only let down with this place was the amount of camping litter in the woods, and fly tipping near the entrance. It ruins a truly beautiful place. If you decide to visit, please leave the area as you would wish to find it, and take your litter with you.
